Gold and silver, the Indian way
Gold is shown per gram for 24K, 22K and 18K, plus the price of onesovereign (8 g of 22K). Silver is shown per kg. Switch between the international price and an India retail estimate that includes import duty and GST, so the number on your screen is close to what you'd see at a jeweller before making charges.

Are NIFTY and SENSEX prices live?
They are delayed market data, refreshed every minute while the market is open. They are for information only, not investment advice.
How is the gold rate calculated?
From the international (COMEX) gold price converted to rupees per gram. The India retail estimate adds import duty (6% by default, editable) and 3% GST. Jewellers add making charges on top.
What is a sovereign?
A sovereign (pavan) is 8 grams of 22-carat gold, the usual unit for jewellery in Tamil Nadu. iWeb shows its price alongside the per-gram rates.
Can I add US or other international stocks?
The watchlist focuses on NSE and BSE listings, Indian indices, gold and silver.
