Install

Get iWeb in under a minute.

iWeb isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so you install it from the official release. It's four steps, and after that it updates itself.

Steps

  1. Download

    Download iWeb.Extension.zip using the button above.

  2. Unzip it

    Unzip it into a folder you'll keep, for example Documents/iWeb. Chrome loads the extension from this folder, so don't delete it.

  3. Load it in Chrome

    Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode (top right), click Load unpacked and choose the folder.

  4. Open a new tab

    iWeb is now your new tab. Edge, Brave and Arc work the same way.

Updating

When a new version is out, iWeb shows a small notice. Open Settings → About → Software Update, choose the folder from step 2 the first time, and clickUpdate Now. The download is verified before anything is replaced.

Uninstalling

Remove iWeb from chrome://extensions. Your data lives in the browser, so export a backup first from Settings → Data Controls if you want to keep it.
